- Remove steering wheel
- Disconnect modules
- Remove Clockspring module
- Separate Steering Angle Sensor module from Clockspring module

- Remove main PCB
- Unsolder 93C66 EEPROM chip
- Read EEPROM content
- Fix EEPROM

How to read/write 93C66 EEPROM dump with CH341a programmer?
Hardware
You can use cheap programmer CH341a Black Edition modified for 93c66 support. Avaliable for ~5EUR on eBay, Allegro or Aliexpress
- Dissassemble the SAS module - pry plastic clips to open
- Remove main PCB
- Unsolder 93C66 EEPROM chip from main PCB
- Read EEPROM content
- Fix EEPROM
Use our fix dump service - Write EEPROM
- Solder EEPROM chip back to PCB
- Assemble the SAS
- Calibrate the SAS in car

If link above does not work below is connection table. You need to connect 93c66 chip in 25XX part of ZIF socket using diffirent wiring. 25xx socket| 93c66 pin | 93C66 chip | 25xx socket |

CAUTON!
Vcc has to be connected to 5V! If you are using wires you can connect Vss to 5V like below

Software
Download AsProgrammer software from this link
Reading and writing EEPROM dump
- Run AsProgrammer program

- Connect chip to CH341a

- Connect the programmer to USB

- Choose chip type M93C66_16bits

- Read the content of the chip

- Save content into the file

Fix the file
Go to 93C66 dump fix service page - Open fixed file

- Write and verify

Sensor calibration
- Assembly the sensor
- Connect sensor to car
- With diagnostic software observe current steering angle sensor value
- Rotate sensor so the observed value equals 0deg
- Disassemble sensor and plase main ring in vertical center position
Final assembly
- Place SAS at the back of clockspring
- Assemble in reverse order
- With diagnostic software clear faults
